Jon Sabol provides strategic regulatory counsel to Tusk Holdings clients and specializes in engagements in the financial services, crypto/blockchain, gaming, and insure-tech sectors. Jon has designed and led a number of successful multi-state legislative campaigns, advises clients on the dynamic regulatory environment surrounding blockchain, crypto, and NFTs, and regularly works with clients on licensing strategy. Prior to joining Tusk, Jon clerked for the Honorable Virginia M. Kendall, a federal district court judge in Chicago. He also was an attorney at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where he worked in the firm’s financial services litigation practice, representing large banks, proprietary trading firms, and traders being investigated by the CFTC, SEC, and DOJ. Jon has also held several different policy and communications positions in the Illinois Governor’s Office. He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Jon is based in Pericles’ Chicago office.
