Sam Polstein leads campaigns at Pericles, with a special focus on strategic communications and how brand reputation influences public policy. Prior to joining the Tusk team, Sam served as Senior Associate at Bully Pulpit Interactive (BPI) – leading digital communications and paid media strategies for a wide variety of political, philanthropic, & corporate clients, including Elizabeth Warren, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Open Society Foundations, AIG, and a host of others. Before BPI, Sam managed field campaigns for Democrats across the country, including statewide and local campaigns in New York, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. He served as Statewide Deputy Field Director in Michigan during the 2014 cycle – overseeing over 40 full-time staffers and helping elect Gary Peters to the U.S. Senate as the only non-incumbent Democrat in a tough year. He is based in Brooklyn, NY.
